We just finished our master bath remodel with Chris. I was extremely happy with the job he did-he brought in quality craftsmen and responded immediately to any texts or calls and addressed all of our concerns and requests. We asked for something, he made it happen. Great to work with-a great person as well.

From the owner

Built from the trade up.

Christopher McEleny came to Kansas from Scotland, completed a four-year union carpentry apprenticeship and worked as a union carpenter. He earned an associate degree in Construction Management and later worked for a large commercial general contractor, training as a superintendent and coordinating subcontractors and construction activities on multimillion-dollar projects.

The craft came from the trade. The planning and coordination came from running complex construction work. Both go into every Caledonian Customs project.

“The name represents where I come from. The standard represents how I believe work should be done.”

About Caledonian Customs

How the work runs

Plan the work. Build it right.

The same four steps on a single bathroom or a whole-floor renovation. The work is planned before it is started.

  1. 01

    Consultation

We walk the space, talk through what you want changed, and give you a straight answer on what the house will and will not allow.

  2. 02

    Plan & proposal

Scope, schedule and selections are set out in writing first, including any engineering and permitting the work requires.

  3. 03

    Construction

One contractor runs the job. Trades are scheduled in order, the work area is protected, and you always know what happens next.

  4. 04

    Final walkthrough

We walk the finished work together, complete the punch list, and close the project out properly.
